Lucie Piper is a higher education and workforce development professional with a background in social work, nonprofit leadership, and a deep commitment to serving military-connected students and families. A veteran spouse, former active duty spouse, and caregiver to a Marine Corps veteran, she brings both lived experience and professional expertise to her work. While aboard Camp Pendleton, she served as a Family Readiness Assistant and completed the Leadership Education Seminar, deepening her commitment to community-based leadership.

With over a decade of experience in career development, Lucie has provided one-on-one career counseling, developed job-readiness programming, and led workforce initiatives focused on increasing access to sustainable employment. She has coached military spouses, transitioning service members, veterans, and other underrepresented job seekers, helping them navigate career transitions and build meaningful, purpose-driven pathways. She has also led inclusive workforce development initiatives for LGBTQ+ youth and young adults, helping to create affirming environments that promote belonging and opportunity.

Previously, Lucie expanded the military spouse mentorship program at ACP and developed customized transition programming for HireMilitary. She also served as Director of Development for the Military Spouse Advocacy Network, leading strategic initiatives to strengthen support services for military families nationwide. A Certified Digital Networking Professional (CDN-P), Lucie is trained in leveraging digital tools to support career advancement. She is also a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Integrative Social Work, focusing on transition and its impact on military and veteran families.
